The Co-op offers a wide variety of classes for member-owners and the public alike. Classes are free and open to the public with no reservations necessary unless otherwise noted in the class information below.

Our classes are hosted in our brand new Community Center, which stems from a vision conceived by many minds with the common goal of ensuring that community stays at the forefront of our mission moving into the future.

Midday Meditation Sitting Group

Hosted by: Freda Tepfer

A basic meditation sitting group (one hour). There will be a brief reading, a 25 minute sitting meditation, some walking meditation, followed by a short sitting meditation. This may vary from week to week and various lineages' practices may be explored, depending on the participants.

Gentle Yoga Winter Series with Carol Comstock

Gentle yoga welcomes the body, mind, and spirit to an expression of balance and peace, through asana, mindfulness, and relaxation. Winter is a perfect time to settle into the space of peace, while creating a sense of balance. This practice is accessible to any level student.
$10 per class payable in cash to instructor.

Mindfulness, Movement, Meditation with Betty Amatangelo

A one hour class consisting of gentle yoga, mindfulness techniques, and guided meditation. No registration necessary. Yoga mats available but feel free to bring your own. Suggested donation of $5 to $10, payable directly to the instructor. Cash only.

Seed Starting with a Master Gardener

Loretta has been a master gardener since 2001, has worked for many years at a greenhouse, and has been a seed starter for pleasure and work for most of her life. Come and learn all her tips and tricks!

All You Need is Love: A Celebration

Green Your Home with Environment Erie

Please join Environment Erie to learn about the possible indoor air pollutants found in your home and ways to correct these issues. You will also learn about different techniques to weatherize your home and make it more energy efficient. (A select number of participants will participate in a six month indoor air quality monitoring study. An indoor air quality kit will be provided after completion of the workshop!)
